Relaunch Tourney

So to relaunch the site .. obviously .. we gotta have a tourney =D

What I'm looking for is ideas for the tourney, the best way for it to be ran.

If you've ran a tourney on a site before let me know or have some good ideas from tourneys you've participated in let me know.

Let the ideas flow ..

(example: 2v2? 3v3? Demolition? Domination? Played on weekends? What System? ect. ect.)

The machinima frag cup was a pretty decent set up. Why not ste- be inspired and make something similar?

3v3 or 4v4
best 2 outta 3
no hardcore

each team picks a map and game type (no team deathmatch)
lower seed can choose to choose to play their map first or second

if a 3rd game is needed...
regular team deathmatch on a pre-chosen map, which would have to be the same for the whole tourny

... or maybe, just have a designed one game type and one map tourny
where everyone plays the same mode and map
so you can see who's really the best at the map and gametype


... blah, idk

3v3 or 2v2 TDM sounds more fair, depending on how many people sign up, Just get a basic number count first before doing anything like that.

obviously Demolition is not an fair game mode cuz u will have spawn trappers if once trapped its difficult 2 get out of it, so i was thinking of an S&D challenge whit multiple rounds,
Like 2v2 3 lives and same weapons or something like that and we need basic rules. Let me know if u want some help setting it up for PS3, i would be glad 2 help ans in weekends looks fine 2 me

if theres going to be a tourney then what if we dont have teams? Maybe 1v1 or a free for all?

no i think that we have to make the team by ourselves, that they send in their PSN ID and K/d and so on..
and that we make the team so whe can make it a bit more fair and free for al is o to but not on rust if u spawn u die again most of the times

i think it'd be rad to have a singles ladder, too though. like gamebattles but not. hahah.
